Toast Hotel Group Brand Manager
October 2020 — Current
Between two hotels and two restaurants, I keep my hands full managing email promotions, social media, food photography, web management, and reimagining brand expression in these times. Due to the unique circumstances, I have been learning a lot about how to best utilize digital and web tools to optimize sales and express our message clearly and concisely. This job has led me to get my hands in the work, but also become more of a manager and organizer to accomplish a variety of projects with printers as well as an outside agency.
Upshot Agency Designer & Art Director Intern
January 2020 — May 2020
In this experience, I was immersed in both sides of the creative process. Starting with the more technical and tactical design team, I was taught to and expected to output web-ready and print-ready files for clients. This role expanded my knowledge of the print process, proof process, and just general organization of files. After transitioning more over onto the work of Art Directors, I was thrown into the fire of conceptualizing, brainstorming, and presenting ideas for new brands and ongoing campaigns. In this role, I was able to more distinctly showcase my skillset and be apart of final conversations of pitches.
Inigo Communications Account Executive
August 2017 — May 2018
For this Student-Run Communications Agency, I was listed as an Account Executive but worked more so as an Art Director and Content Creator for two different brands. Projects mostly focused on social media content creation, but also includes video production, and strategizing a long-term email and web campaign. While doing this, I learned a lot about the process of collaboration with people that don’t necessarily view the creative as a necessary part of their growth. It was my job to get the others and the client enthusiastic about the prospect of content creation and launching a campaign.
